South Florida: What are you going to do with your residents when a hurricane comes?
Are you aware that s. 397.471, Florida Statutes requires adequate disaster planning policies and procedures?
What is your plan if a major hurricane, natural disaster, or even terrorism event impacts your treatment center or recovery residence?
Where do you find food, water, shelter, transportation, for your residents?
What is your liability if you have no such plan in place?
Fortunately, the South County Recovery Residence Association (SCRRA) in collaboration with the City of Delray Beach and the Delray Beach Drug Task Force is hosting a free event that is a MUST ATTEND presentation.
Let me put it this way, if someone from your organization is not there, everyone else will know it, and it will be clear where your priorities are.
What: Hurricane Preparedness Presentation
When: Wednesday, June 29 @ 7pm
Where: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 188 S. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach
Refreshments will be served.
